​AVP Pricing Actuary- Specialty products

Location:  New York City

​

 

This role will focus on the pricing of Specialty products including Ocean Marine, Inland Marine, and Engineered Risk. As the pricing lead, this person will serve as the principal liaison between the pricing team and the underwriters. The selected candidate will have opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects and contribute to the overarching goals of the department.

• FCAS or near FCAS qualification preferred

• Proficiency in Excel and at least one programming language (Python, R, SQL, DAX is a plus).

Sr. Reserving Actuary

Location:  New York City

 

The role will develop relationships within the Actuarial function with the pricing team and beyond the Actuarial function with Risk, Claims, Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis and leverage these relationships to enhance an understanding of Sompo International’s business and processes. The selected candidate will have opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects and contribute to the overarching goals of the department.
